Use & Care Instructions:
• Initial Cleaning: Before using it for the first time, clean your La gourmet® product with warm water and dishwashing liquid. A soft foam head cleaning brush works well. Avoid metal or hard plastic brushes.
• Stubborn Stains: To remove tough stains, fill the flask/mug with a mixture of hot water and vinegar or lemon juice. Let it soak for several hours, then empty and rinse thoroughly. For very stubborn stains, try a mix of bicarbonate soda and hot water, soaking before rinsing.
• Drying: Always dry with the lid removed from the thermalware.
• Maximum Heat/Cold Retention: Get the best performance by pre-rinsing your La gourmet® Thermalware with hot water for hot drinks and cold water for cold drinks.
• Avoid Overfilling: Don't fill the La gourmet® Thermalware to the brim. Leave about 2-3cm below the rim to prevent spills when opening and to extend the lifespan of the silicone ring. Constant soaking in hot liquid can wear it out.
• Secure Covers Tightly: Make sure both the outer cover and inner stopper are tightly closed at all times.
Caution:
• To protect the outer flask paint, use a soft sponge for cleaning, not an abrasive scourer. Abrasive cleaning can cause the paint to fade over time.
• Don't use it in the microwave or oven.
• Avoid direct flames.
• Don't fully immerse the whole flask in water.
• It's not recommended for milk products or baby food, as vacuum insulation can lead to rapid bacterial growth and souring within a few hours.
• You can use ice in this unbreakable stainless steel vacuum thermalware, but don't use carbonated beverages or dry ice. It may cause the stopper to eject forcefully.
